Scenic Fort Worth Welcomes Gannon Gries to the Board of Directors

Scenic Fort Worth is pleased to welcome Gannon Gries as the newest member of its Board of Directors. With an extensive background in architecture, historic preservation, and urban planning, Gannon brings valuable professional experience and a longstanding commitment to the Fort Worth community.

A registered architect with more than two decades of experience, Gannon has worked on a variety of architectural projects throughout Fort Worth, including projects involving the city's cultural institutions and public spaces. His professional background includes leadership roles with Bennett Partners and experience designing buildings that balance functionality, sustainability, and community character.

Beyond his architectural career, Gannon has been actively involved in Fort Worth's civic development. He served six years on the Historic and Cultural Landmarks Commission, including five years as Chair, helping guide preservation efforts throughout the city. He has also served on the Downtown Fort Worth Design Review Board and the city's Urban Design Commission.

His experience in architecture, historic preservation, and community planning closely aligns with Scenic Fort Worth's mission to protect and enhance the city's natural and built environments.
